Instructions
- In a saucepan and water and boil pasta according to directions. In a large skillet, brown and crumble the ground beef until no longer pink on medium heat. Add the onions, peppers, and mushrooms until vegetables are tender. If not enough grease add some extra virgin olive oil and continue sauteing until onions are clear. (If too much grease, drain some off.) Turn the burner to low.
- When pasta is cooked, drain and add to skillet. Add Alfredo sauce and turn the heat back up to heat through. Stir to get all mixed up.
- I call this Alfredo surprise because it's up to you what you add. In my house meat and mushrooms are a requirement! Leave them out or add chicken if you would prefer. Use macaroni instead of penne or whatever you have on hand. Make this recipe for your family. I got a "this is really good" TWICE from my son and husband! The next time I made it we had fresh mushrooms that I sliced and saute'd with the onions. I even got away with no meat because of all the mushrooms.
- Try it with your own ingredients and don't be surprised if you get a similar reaction from your family! JUST ENJOY! I wouldn't say you would be called a CHEF, but a good home COOK!
